Special Education
Special Education provides a free and appropriate public education to students with disabilities. Students who meet eligibility requirements in one or more of the 13 disability categories receive individualized services when their disability significantly affects their educational progress.
The Whitehall School District partners with the Prickly Pear Special Education Cooperative to provide School Psychologist, Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational and Physical Therapist, and Special Education Director services.
Whitehall has a team of professionals dedicated to meeting the unique needs of our special education students, including four teachers/case managers and twelve paraprofessionals.
