Camping, kayaking, exercising, working in my yard, playing with grandkids, drinking coffee on my deck or in front of my wood stove fire.

My greatest influencers:

The most influential person in my life has been my sister-in-law, Barbara. She has shown me how to love and serve others.

What made me want to be a teacher:

My mother taught first grade in a Billings elementary school next to my junior high school. Each day I rode to school early with her and drove home with her. I spent before and after school helping her in her classroom. I decided then that I wanted to be a teacher.

My favorite thing about being a teacher:

My favorite aspect of being a teacher is the varied daily interaction with the kids.

I’d like you to know this about me:

I have high expectations for myself and my students. I believe that each of us is a work in progress, and although change for the better may be slow, it can happen, and will happen. I strive to come alongside my students to help them become the best they can be in the short time that I have them as a students.
